Todo esto partiendo de la idea de que en el tiempo libre todos y todas tenemos nuestro espacio donde encontrarnos y participar. En el tiempo libre todos jugamos, bailamos, fabricamos obras de arte, hacemos música, usamos nuestras manos, nuestros pies, imaginamos, hablamos, cantamos, observamos, gritamos, escuchamos…

La Federación BATEAN está formada por voluntarios de entre 18 y 30 años. La mayoría de ellos proceden del barrio donde desarrollan las actividades para niños y jóvenes: ludotecas, apoyo al trabajo en casa, talleres de creatividad, bailes, deportes, talleres de informática, campamentos de verano…

Las actividades son de puertas abiertas para todos los niños y jóvenes, pero como la Federación trabaja con un porcentaje importante de niños en situación social difícil, la Federación recibe una subvención y colabora con el Área de Servicios Sociales del Ayuntamiento de Pamplona.

Esta federación no es una entidad prestadora de servicios, sino que concentra el esfuerzo de todas las asociaciones para crear espacios participativos y de encuentro, creando día a día la historia colectiva de nuestro barrio, desde la educación hasta las actividades de ocio y tiempo libre.
